Sometimes you want to delete your pesky temporary Internet files, whether for security reasons or simply to free up some space on your computer. Here's how:
1. Click Start, and open up the Control Panel
2. Select "Internet Options"
3. Look at the new window. In it, there should be a section under "General" that refers to browsing history. Click on the button that says "Delete..."
4. Check the box that says "Temporary Internet files and website files"
5. Click "Delete". After a few moments, your temporary Internet files should be gone..!!
1. Open the Chrome menu by clicking on the small icon in the top right corner that resembles three horizontal lines.
2. Click on "Tools", then "Clear Browsing Data"
3. Check the box "Empty the Cache" and click "Clear Browsing Data"
1. Open the Firefox menu, by clicking the word "Firefox" in the top left hand corner. There should be two columns of choices.
2. On the left column, hover your cursor over "History" to open another drop-down menu.
3. Click "Clear Recent History"
4. Check the box that says "Cache" and then click "Clear Now". Because temporary internet files are stored in the cache, they should now be deleted

2. Click the option that says "Empty Cache". Temporary internet files are stored in the cache, so this should delete them all.
Internet Explorer
1. Click Start, and open up the Control Panel

- For Windows 7, you will have to click "Network and Internet" to be able to open "Internet Options"

5. Click "Delete". After a few moments, your temporary Internet files should be gone..!!
Chrome
